Our Bee hotels are designed for a variety of insects to inhabit during winter including: Bumble bees, Butterflies, Ladybirds, Solitary bees and other wild pollinators and insects. Each house is made from natural wood and has various cavities and spaces for insects to nest in during spring and summer and also to hibernate in over winter. Spring and Autumn is an ideal time to place these insect hotels in your garden and will encourage insects to your garden next year.
*Inline with our website policy, ALL insect hotels are postage FREE and with every order we'll include FREE Bluebell wild flower seeds for your wild flower garden.*

Wild Bird Nest Boxes:
Our wild bird nest boxes are ideal for small wild birds such as: Blue Tits, Great Tits, Robins, Wrens, Sparrows and other small birds. Each nest box is made from natural wood and has a small hole for birds to enter to the front. There is a sloping roof which is hinged to facilitate cleaning out the nest box at the end of the year (which we recommend doing as some birds will not reuse an old nest). Autumn is an ideal time to put up a nest box as birds will sometimes roost inside it during the cold winter months and it also gives the birds time to get used to its presence in your garden.

Wild Bird Feeders:
Our wild bird feeders are a great addition to any garden and provide a hanging platform for small wild birds to feed from. Made from solid natural wood with a pale blue roof, each feeder has a cord attached to the roof for easy hanging from a tree or stake. This is ideal for small garden birds such as: Blue Tits, Great Tits, Robins, Wrens, Sparrows and other small birds. Autumn is an ideal time to hang a bird feeder as from this moment on and throughout winter food can be in short supply for wild birds. Bird feeders are also a great way to attract wild birds to your garden.

Made from solid natural wood, our wooden Hedgehog houses are designed as a winter shelter for hibernating Hedgehogs. Hedgehog populations in the UK have fallen dramatically so why not give them a helping hand in the form of a winter shelter. Placement: In Autumn position the Hedgehog house in a shady spot and to give it a more natural look put a small piece of polythene over the top of the roof and then cover that with some twigs and leaves etc. Place a small amount of straw, hay, dry leaves etc inside and leave the entrance clear. Ideal for a smaller garden, the Hedgehog house will encourage Hedgehogs to visit your garden whilst also providing a winter nest.
